8(a) Sole Source: If the value of a requirement is less than $4 million, Federal and Department of Defense (DoD) customers can pursue a “Sole Source” award to ACLC as an 8(a) prime contractor. Because ACLC is a Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Business Development Program participant through 2021, work can be directly awarded to us through the SBA. This saves the customer the cost and time of competing the work on the open market while strengthening the Small Business marketplace. SDVOSB Sole Source: Like an 8(a) Sole Source, If the value of a requirement is less than $4 million, Federal and DoD customers can pursue a Sole Source award to ACLC as a Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Because ACLC is an SDVOSB, work can be directly awarded to us. This allows ACLC to open direct lines of communication with the customer and be onsite immediately, saving the customer the time of a procurement period.
